Just a quick post.
Just have a little something to whine about.
Today I tried to wipe a hair away from around my eye.
Until I realized it wasn't going to go anywhere because it wasn't a hair.
It was a new crow's feet wrinkle.
One that came to join the ranks of soooo many others.
The reflection of myself in the mirror looking back at myself was embarrassed for myself.
Aye, yi, yi.

ReplyDeletegood lord, i don't know if it's just from passing the age of 30 or being a mom now. !
well i still think you are gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteAwwww, thanks Allyson! Very sweet!
ReplyDeleteYou know I've always loved those wrinkles on people...I think they look so happy. And like they've spent a lot of their life laughing. I can see those fine lines coming around my own eyes and I like it! :)
ReplyDeleteSweetie, on you they look good. Awesome, in fact.
ReplyDeleteThat's one way to grow hair. It's really OK.
ReplyDeleteA new wrinkle? You've just earned a badge of honor! I'm quite proud to say I've earned a few...um, a lot!
ReplyDeleteLiving it up at Lakewood,
Cindy
I agree with PlantSomeRoots@Lakewood. They are badges of honor. So are my gray hairs! I'm only 29, so I feel awesome having gray hairs all ready. Lol
ReplyDeleteApparently wrinkles are a reflection of our life experiences, or something like that. But I'm still going to slather on the wrinkle cream!
ReplyDeleteDon't you hate it? It's like they're there overnight!
ReplyDeleteDon't feel bad about it! Think of wrinkles as crinkly proof that you're one step closer to attaining universal wisdom! (...or something like that, LOL!)
ReplyDelete(BTW, there's a little something waiting for you on my blog - stop on by and pick up your newest award!)
ReplyDeleteI think you're hallucinating! You look great! At first I thought you were gonna talk about some really stray hair growing from some mole or something...glad that's not the case!
ReplyDeleteoh my goodness!!! You are sooooooooo beautiful! Dont worry about a few wrinkles!!! :)

ReplyDeleteHey Amo,
ReplyDeleteGo look on Lemonade Parade:)
Why do wrinkles feel the need to invite their friends? My wrinkles are a very social bunch and they do not discriminate. Infact, they've decided to invite big blotchy dry patch as well. They laugh at me at night while I'm glopping on gallons of miracle night cream. The only miracle being that someone got me to buy that stuff in the first place. Lately I've been hearing them talk to hair. Telling it to join the party. Go Gray, Join today they shout.
ReplyDeletebut you still look fabulous!!
ReplyDeletecute story. :)
Hee Hee. We call those laugh lines now!
ReplyDeleteWhat a bummer! I agree with ModernMom about calling them laugh lines!
ReplyDeleteHi Amy,
