Thank you, Thirtysomethingland!

It seems I have been given the "One Lovely Blog Award" by a fellow blogger, Thirtysomethingland! I am so very grateful! I haven't won anything since the seventh grade when I won an award for being able to read a poem all the way through without messing up! What a divine accomplishment, hmm? Who said I don't have any talents...

Now, I get to find 15 blogs of my own to give the award and I am thrilled to have an excuse to sit in front of the computer and read! However, since I am about as skillful with a computer as I am doing a back handspring, I will first have to find out how to provide links to all these wonderful blogs. I am clueless. I can't even figure out how to get the picture of the award on my blog. Yes, it's really that bad. So, it might be awhile.

Thanks again, Thirtysomethingland! I appreciate it so much!

  1. You are so funny! Exactly why I chose your blog!
To add links, you first need to go to the title of the blog - get it right from their site, ex. mine would be http://thirtysomethingland.net - you will then right click and hit copy. Okay, then go to your blog and start your post. After you have written the name of the blog you are naming you will left click and hold to highlight the blog title then click the little chain looking button up where spell check, etc. is. This will pull up a add url message box. Then you will right click and hit paste and the blog url should copy into the box. There will be two http:// parts so go back and delete one of them. Gosh I hope this makes sense. To copy the award pic onto your blog just right click it on my site and you should be able to hit save as into your pictures file on your computer. Whoa. I think this is the longest comment I have ever made. Fingers crossed it works! Took me alot of yelling and curse words to figure out the url thing and when I did I went, Oh. That was easy. I think the way I did it was to type all the names of the blogs in my post then I minimized my blog and went back online to find each url to copy. If someone out there has a quicker, painless way please share!!!
    Happy Posting!

  2. Thank you for the advice, thirtysomething! This thirtysomething girl greatly appreciates it! I'm a little behind the technology times. Now if I could find someone to help me figure out the lawn sprinkler...and the grill...and the printer...and my husband...
